The Gravity Haus Experience

In the cute little ski town of Teton Village you will find Gravity Haus, the perfect base-camp to all of your adventures in the surrounding areas of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park.

After a long day of hiking or skiing you can take a dip in their stunning hot tub, grab a drink at the Bar while you hangout with friends or retire to the balcony in your lofted room to sip to some wine and watch the sun set beyond the aspen trees.

This hotel strikes the perfect balance between upscale and laid back. The black steel accents and concrete floors are softened by plush velvet chairs and the kind of couches you just sink into.

While roaming the hotel you will find different pieces of art- photography and video- featuring the many sports one can do in the stunning landscapes right around the corner from the Gravity Haus.

Location: The Best Hotel In Teton Village

Sitting in centrally in the Teton Village, Gravity Haus is only a quick walk away from all of the ski slopes and amenities that come with the area.

If you want to head into Jackson you are only a 15 minute drive outside of the lively tourist town and in the Summer you are only 3 miles away from the entrance of The Grand Tetons National Park.

The proximity to all of these beautiful destinations is what made this hotel a no brainer for me. I enjoyed that it was a bit outside of the craziness of Jackson while still allowing easy access to any activity I wanted to do.

Is The Teton Village in Grand Teton National Park?

While close to the Grand Teton National Park- the Teton Village sits right outside of the park. You can access the Granite Canyon Entrance Station via the Moose Wilson road which is right outside of the Teton Village.

What Is The Difference Between Teton Village and Jackson?

Teton Village and Jackson, Wyoming sit only a 15 minute drive from one another- so what is the real difference?

The Teton Village is what you would think of as your typical ski resort village– it sits directly next to the Jackson Hole Resort.

In Teton Village you will find hotels, restaurants, access to the aerial tram as well as a skating rink in the Winter!

As for Jackson, this is a lively tourist town with everything from art galleries to clothing stores to cowboy bars and everything in between!

Jackson is a great place to go out on the town, or window shop during the day. It also has all the amenities you may think of from a normal town- Whole Foods, yoga studios, coffee shops to work from and any convenience item you may need.

Visiting The Grand Teton National Park

Only a short drive from Gravity Haus is the Grand Teton National Park. This Park is absolutely mind blowing beautiful and deserves at least a whole day of your time to roam around and explore.

Some top things to do in The Grand Teton National Park include driving the loop road, going for a hike, watching a sunrise at Schwabachers Landing and looking for wildlife!

When Is The Best Time To Go To Gravity Haus?

I personally visited Gravity Haus during their slowest time of the year- Fall! While I loved the slow pace of The Teton Village and the brilliant colors of the Aspen trees this time of year is definitely one of the most underrated.

Although, keep in mind that Gravity Haus does close temporarily from the 26th of October through the 21st of November.

The true fun comes during Winter and Summer. These seasons are when the Teton Village is at it’s prime.

Enjoy world class skiing, ice skating, warm hot tub soaks and snowy views during the Winter.

OR have a blast enjoying warm Summer days hiking and climbing in the Teton’s!

Room Types At Gravity Haus

What really makes this hotel unique is all the variations of rooms you can rent. It goes far beyond what you may expect from a normal hotel, allowing you to find one that fits your needs perfectly.

Double Queen

This is your basic hotel room- completely remodeled and featuring two queen beds and modern amenities. This is perfect for couples or small groups traveling together.

King

Another option you may be familiar with from other hotel stays is the King bedroom- featuring one gorgeous king bed.

Studio Suite

Adding a bit of extra room to the King- this Studio features a pull out sleeper couch, a fireplace, table for two, kitchenette and balcony. This room also commonly connects to a Continuum Double Queen room making it a great option for groups!

One Bedroom Suite

A unique option for those looking for more space! This suite includes a separate bedroom as well as a living room with sofa, fireplace, dining room table and kitchenette.

Loft

Another wonderful option for those who are looking for more space- this room features a loft with a King Bed. On the main floor you have a queen size sofa sleeper. This is a wonderful option for those who have more gear and want space to store it!

Loft With Kitchenette

Similar to the Loft this room features a loft with a King Bed. On the main floor you have a queen size sofa sleeper as well as a fireplace, balcony, and kitchenette.

This is the room I stayed in and it was wonderful to have access to a balcony and a separate space to sleep in.

Superior Loft With Kitchenette

This is the largest loft on the property. This room can sleep up to 6 adults with a king bed on the loft and a king bed and queen sofa on the main floor. It also has a spiral staircase (which I think is so cute!) as well as a fireplace, kitchenette and table for 6!

This seems like the perfect option for those who want to stay with all of their friends in the same space!

ADA Double Queen/ ADA Studio Suite

Similar to the Double Queen and Studio Suite these two have the same features but all built to accommodate those in need of ADA.

Things To Do At The Best Hotel In The Teton Village

Soak in the Hot-tub

Gravity Haus boasts a large hot tub and warm pool making it the perfect place to go after a long day on the slopes. Each night my boyfriend and I sat out here- enjoying the cool air and a huckleberry Moscow mule (Yes! You can bring the cocktails outside!)

Eat at the Restaurant

Right next to the lobby of the hotel is a stunning dining area and bar. We ate here the first night and were so impressed by the quality of the food and drinks. I highly recommend a huckleberry mule or fire-roasted flatbread!

Relax in the lounge area!

Directly above the lobby and looking over the dining area is a beautiful lounge area. I found it to be the perfect place to relax and get some work done on my laptop while my boyfriend most enjoyed playing board games with our friends who came to visit!
