The Earthlight Villa is by far the most luxurious cabin I have stayed at in Washington. Full stop.

Luxury in every sense of the word- from a gorgeous bath that overlooks the gorge to floor-to-ceiling windows and the view to match, this cabin feels like the lavish experience you know you deserve. 

The Earthlight Villa Experience

Nestled in the hills of Eastern Washington sits the Earthlight Villa, a modern oasis perfect for a romantic getaway or self-care retreat.

You’ll find a gorgeous bathtub in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to relax and take in the views.

The open-plan house is outfitted with everything you need for a weekend away; a modern kitchen, plush bed, and a deck featuring a hot tub and lounge chairs.

Where Is Earthlight Villa Located?

Far from the city, this villa allows you to retreat into the rolling hills of Eastern Washington and clear your mind. Located far from any other properties, this cabin in Waterville, WA allows you to truly getaway. 

It’s only an hour’s drive to enjoy the cute town of Leavenworth, grab a beer and relax or you can venture among the hills for a wildflower hike at Sage Hills in Wenatchee. You can even meander through some of the orchards in the spring and summer, picking fresh cherries or apples.

When Is The Best Time To Go To Earthlight Villa?

I would argue that there is no wrong time to go to the Earthlight Villa! Cozy up and enjoy soft snowy views or visit in the spring and summer and go hiking and cherry picking! 

The only thing that I will warn about is in the chance of a winter storm the road there is quite precarious and you will need a 4WD or AWD vehicle to reach the cabin during that time of year.

Things To Do At Earthlight Villa

Soak in a Bath

You really can’t talk about this villa without mentioning the absolutely gorgeous bathtub that sits in front of a magnificent view.

The owners know this is one of the prime draws to this cabin and provide you with bubble bath, bath salts and lush towels for you to use.

Personally, I brought a bottle of red wine and a book and relaxed for an hour, luxuriating in the hot water and beautiful view.

Do Yoga On The Deck

If you are after something a little more active or want to spend you morning outside I would recommend grabbing the provided yoga mat and spreading out on the deck for a nice stretch!

Watch The Sunset From The Hot tub

This cabin really knows how to utilize hot water, out on the deck overlooking the Columbia river sits a stunning hot tub with your name written all over it! Watch as the sun dips behind the hills and the sky lights on fire.

What To Do Near Earthlight Villa

Explore Leavenworth

Make your way to the lovely town of Leavenworth! This cute, Bavaria-inspired town sits under beautiful mountains and has many cute shops to discover.

Find new types of tea and spices at Cup and Kettle – my favorite tea shop in all of Washington! If you want something a little stronger check out Icicle Brewing– they have great beer, a beautiful patio and amazing pretzels.

Hike Around The Hills

The gorge is a beautiful area to hike in- head to Wenatchee, WA and hike through wildflowers in the springtime at Sage Hills!

Visit the Orchards

Truly what this area is known for- orchards! Go tour an apple orchard in the Fall or stop by and pick cherries in the summer. Some of the best fruit in the state comes from this area.

Food & Drinks

This cabin is quite secluded, meaning a grocery store is going to be quite a drive. Stop at a grocery store along the way and grab food and maybe a bottle of wine if your into the sort of thing 😉

A Book

This is one of the best places I have found to just disconnect and immerse myself in a book of my choice.

It’s not a weekend getaway without sweatpants and cozy sweaters- do yourself a favor and pack your favorite comfy clothes!
